Aaron: When you were in school did everyone get trophies?
Adrienne: What do you mean?
Aaron: If you had a talent show everyone that participated, even if they sucked got a trophy.
Adrienne: Yeah, sometimes.
Aaron: I disagree with that. Life isn't set up that way and preparing kids like that is setting them up for failure.
Adrienne: I don't know. There's so many bad parents out there and some kids never get any positive reinforcement. The school's taken on that responsiblity. That trophy may be the only "good job" they ever get.
Aaron: Oh, I hadn't thought of it that way.
