Juno is a great time. it's the anti-anti teen pregnancy film escaping all teen drama traps yet remains sweet and sincere. I've read critics complaining the dialogue is advanced for teenagers. I agree, but it pays off in the best written comedic scene this year, Juno's confession to her parents. The scene causes cheek-pain laughter and I only heard half the scene because of a roaring crowd. The writer Diablo Cody lives up to the hype. No, she is not the new Tarantino, and that's a ridiculous comparison. Cody is however crisp and new. If you need a comparison, she's somewhere between Sophia Coppola and Wes Anderson and has yet to direct a single frame. Juno is a very very good movie.
